Village of Brewster
Brewster is a vibrant village in the town of Southeast. It's known for its accessibility by transportation, with its own train station along the Metro-North Southeast line and a major highway intersection in its center.

Thunder Ridge Ski Slopes
In 1848, Walter Brewster solicited the New York and Harlem Railroad to build a train depot on his property. The area around the depot was officially incorporated as a village in 1894. Route 6 runs through the village with Route 202 and Route 22 running along the village's southern boundary and I-84 passing just east of the village at the intersection of I-684.
Mahopac
Mahopac (also known as Lake Mahopac) is a hamlet within the town of Carmel. It is located along Route 6 and is known best for its many scenic lakes, making it a popular destination for fishing and boating.

Nelsonville
Located just further inland from Cold Spring, Nelsonville is a small but historical village. With numerous hiking trails and revered institutions such as The United States Military Academy and the Boscobel Restoration, Nelsonville has become a beloved part of Putnam County.
Garrison
Just south of Cold Spring along Route 9, Garrison is home to many of Putnam County's prime tourist attractions. Boscobel, Manitoga, and the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival draw in visitors from all over.

Hamlet of Carmel
The hamlet is the site of the historic County Court House (built 1814), the David D. Bruen County Office Building, and other structures, and borders Lake Gleneida. Next to the lake stands a bronze statue commemorating Sybil Ludington.
Fahnestock State Park
This 14,086-acre park, covering land in Putnam and Dutchess counties, boasts hiking trails, picnic areas, scenic campground, and abundant opportunities for boating, hunting, fishing, and birding. The park is also home to the Taconic Outdoor Education Center, which provides high-quality environmental programming and Fahnestock Winter Park, which includes 20 kilometers of groomed trails for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
Cold Spring Train Station
Cold Spring station is a commuter rail stop on the Metro-North Railroad's Hudson Line, located in Cold Spring, New York.
Garrison Train Station
Garrison Landing was built around the station, which, along with the line, was acquired by the New York Central and Hudson River Railroad (NYC&HR) in 1864, and like many others on the Hudson Line, it is also right on the Hudson River.
Patterson Train Station
Metro North provides daily service north to Wassaic in Dutchess County, and south to White Plains in Westchester County and Grand Central Terminal in New York City.
The Patterson Station is located on Front St., off Route 311 in the hamlet of Patterson. Parking is available by permit or by meters. The station is ADA compliant.
Boscobel
Located along Route 9, Boscobel opened as a nonprofit museum sixty years ago. It features a historic house turned museum for the decorative arts from the Federal period and 68 acres of beautiful grounds, full of lush gardens and woodland trails.
Hudson Valley Shakespeare
The Hudson Valley Shakespeare festival is a non-profit professional theater company based in Garrsion. Its productions attract a total audience of about 50,000 from the Hudson Valley, New York City, and 40 U.S. states.

Located in the rolling hills of Patterson and just 60 minutes north of NYC, Thunder Ridge is a popular skiing destination with 22 trails, skiing lessons, and frequent special events for visitors.
